hi all guyz

we have big problem in Woi simulation

the probmle is its not look like the real world (we need for speed) in the woi simulation the aircrafts not reach to the max speed look like real world and not reach to the max tack off weigh then i maed comparative between the real world and woi simulation

lets see it.

1- in Woi simulation

A4E ahit:-

Aircraft name : a4e ahit

max tack off weight : 24.500 (lb)

max speed wight weapons : 550km\h

max speed without weapons : 600km\h

A4H ahit ;-

Aircraft name ; A4H ahit

max tack off weight : 24.750 (lb)

max speed wight weapons : 510km\h

max speed without weapons : 610km\h

A4F Ahit :-

Aircraft name : A4F Ahit

max tack off weight : 24.850 (lb)

max speed wight weapons : 495kh\m

max speed without weapons : 515km\h

F-15 Baz :-

Aircraft name :- F-15 Baz

A4e Ahit (73) :-

Aircraft name :- A4e Ahit (73)

max tack off weight :- 25.910(lb)

max speed wight weapons :- 475km\h

max speed without weapons :- 484km\h

A4h Ahit (73) :-

Aircraft name :- A4h Ahit (73)

max tack off weight: 25.790(lb)

max speed wight weapons :- 481km\h

max speed without weapons :- 493km\h

ok thats all in Woi simulation

lets see what s in Real world...

2-The Real World :-

(A-4F Skyhawk)

Max takeoff weight: 24,500 lb (11,136 kg)

Maximum speed: 585 knots (673 mph, 1,077 km/h)

Max takeoff weight: 81,000 lb (36,700 kg)

Maximum speed: Mach 2.5+ (1,650+ mph, 2,660+ km/h)

Max takeoff weight: 42,300 lb (19,200 kg)

Maximum speed:

At sea level: Mach 1.2 (915 mph, 1,460 km/h)

At altitude: Mach 2+ (1,500 mph, 2,414 km/h)

Combat radius: 340 NM (295 mi, 550 km) on a hi-lo-hi mission with six 1,000 lb (450 kg) bombs

Max takeoff weight: 61,795 lb (28,030 kg)

Maximum speed: Mach 2.23 (1,472 mph, 2,370 km/h) at 40,000 ft (12,190 m)

Max takeoff weight: 14,670 kg (32,340 lb)

Maximum speed: 2,440 km/h (1,516 mph)

mirage llcj shahak :

max tack off weight :13.500kg

max speed 2.2 mach =2.350km\h

Max takeoff weight: 9,660 kg (21,300 lb)

Maximum speed: 2230 km/h (1385 mph) (Mach 2.1)

Max takeoff weight: 18,030 kg (39,749 lb)

Maximum speed: Mach 2.4 2,445 km/h at altitude; Mach 1.14, 1,350 km/h at sea level (1,553 mph / 840 mph)

we can see the far Diffrent between the Woi Simulation and The Real World. i hope all guyz understand What i main and understand what i want (we need for speed to be Woi simulation look like the real world)

then In the End we need For New Updat to Woi Simulation to be near from The Real World

i hope http://www.thirdwire.com made good updat to enjoy with woi

Definately a difference between the two. Also of note: aircraft can't fly as fast or turn as hard when they're loaded down. I'd like to see an F-15 try to hit 2.5IMN with 3 tanks, 4 Sparrows and 4 Sidewinders. It just isn't going to happen. The Max Speed is usually done with a "clean" aircraft, and at high altitude with less air resistance. I think the -15 hits 1.21IMN or so at sea level, but has reached 2.5IMN waaay up high in a clean configuration. Even then, it's still going to take you a while to get that fast, and there's not really a practical reason to do so.

Google theese terms:

Term number 1: Indicated Airspeed

Term number 2: True Airspeed

Then come back

thinkx but if u see in my topic u ll see the woi speed not look like real world thats iwant to say and thats i want to development woi to be look like real world thats all

thinkx :good:

Well, what Brian meant is: the numbers are accurate, the number on the lower display box is your Indicated Air Speed.

Here's an example, using the F-15A Baz

Notice that the little box says 625knots. That is my Indicated Air Speed. The HUD reads my True Air Speed: Mach 2.489, very nearly Mach 2.5, and also notice, this is with 4 Sparrows and 4 Sidewinders loaded.

In other words, my F-15 is traveling at the speed of Mach 2.489, but to put it loosely, will handle as if it were traveling at just below Mach 1 at International Standard Atmosphere conditions.

Also notice how much fuel I consumed trying to reach Mach 2.5

You see, it can be done, and you've probably hit that magic number already. Just remember TAS is on the HUD and IAS is in that little box. The numbers are accurate.

For aircraft you want to test that don't have the TAS or Mach in the HUD, you can turn on the debug info.

Here's the F-16 topping out at Mach 1.22 at 700ft. Your spec was Mach 1.2 at sea level.

Gentlemen, nice job with the explanation and the screenshots.

We may have to sticky this into the KB since this comes up a lot.
