combatacepilot 1 Posted March 31, 2008 are there any realistic cockpit add-ons for tu-16,tu-22 aircraft? ------------------------------reply
Basher11 0 Posted March 31, 2008 I would tend to think that not very likely. It is simply because one could imagine that how sophisticated to render all the instruments installed on the flight panel of the real bomber. You see, we are talking about a long range bomber not to mention that there are more than 1 pilot inside the pit. That means it takes huge effort to make such a cockpit. Have you seen the A-10 addons? There are lots of files compared to stock cockpits. Having that said, I could be wrong you know.
MigBuster 2,884 Posted March 31, 2008 (edited) Cockpits and cockpit builders are rare - but there are a few duel pits out there. A-6 (Stock/Razbam) F-111 (free) A-26 (Yap) Helicopters (Yap) C-47 (YAP) HC-130 (YAP) The effort required for a free and accurate TU-22 / TU-16 pit would probably have to come from someone with a big interest in those Soviet jets. For the Tu-22, I'd go with an F-111 repaint.
Basher11 0 Posted April 1, 2008 For the Tu-22, I'd go with an F-111 repaint. But really, all the instruments are quite different. Besides, a dummy pilot makes most realism, current F-111 pit doesn't include a dummy pilot does it?
