From someone who has done it hundreds of time.

 

1. Install clean copy of WOI.

2. Add patch

3. Install mods

 

That is the 100% sure fire way to keep from screwing up your installs. Failure to do it like this, is to doom your install.

Lemme see if I got this straight.

 

Fresh install of WoI.

 

Install Raptor and Typhoon, fire it up and blast some Arab scum from the skies!

 

Install patch, watch it crash to desktop, then come here and b1tch about it?

 

Gotcha!
