+Piecemeal Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Hi guys, Does anyone know if there's any issues I should know about with regards to Brain32's Vietnam32' tileset repaint? I just downloaded it and installed it in the Terrain folder (as per his instructions). The original VietnamSEA folder was deleted. Was there something I missed? Any help in this area would be appreciated.
+Syrinx Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 You should have backed up the original VietnamSea folder, tut tut. Just in case.

Oh I did back it up; That's a habit I got into a LONG time ago my like minded friend. It's just that I find the original a little bland. Not much to look around at if you know what I mean.

+Brain32 Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 I don't get where's the problem, my mod delets no default files...
Stwa Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Worked fine when I installed it. If I remember, all I did was cut the files from the download and then I pasted em in to my original VietnamSEA folder. Hence, no backup...

+Piecemeal Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 I think you misunderstood me friend. I DID keep a copy of the original VietnamSEA folder. I was just a little confused by the installation instructions that came with the re-paint folder, and I quote from it: 1. Installation. Un-ZiP "VietnamSEA" folder into terrain folder(X:\....\Wings Over Vietnam\Terrain) of your Wings Over Vietnam installation. In any case, all is well here now. After logging on earlier I went through the last few replies and took your advice. Thanks again for your help folks. That's what's great about this forum. A friendly piece of advice if ever you're stuck for some......
+Brain32 Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Yeah sure, good to see it solved although I still have no clue what was it about lol
