Flanker 2.51 , is it like an older Lo-Mac ???

I started playing Flanker 2.51 after i heard someone said that

if u want to start in early with Lo-Mac u should play Flanker

first i wanna say that i like playing Flanker.... its cool :D

second thing is that i know that the same company created both games

anyone can tell if thats true ? are both of the games are somehow the same or am I wasting my time?

Ahem... LOMAC is essentially Flanker 3.0. I think it was at one time going to be called Flanker 3.0 "Flanker Attack".

You can also fly an A-10A, F15C, Mig29, SU-25

 

So it would be a bit stupid to call it 'Flanker'

its probably one of the many reasons that they changed the name

They probably saw a larger market if they added a couple of USAF aircraft (F-15 and A-10). My thoughts are that since F-15 was a Janes simulation and Janes at one time was also developing A-10 Warthog (cancelled) then those two aircraft would bring aboard a lot more virtal pilots who didn't want to fly Russian aircraft alone, wanted an update to the oild F-15, or wanted (like me) to pound mud in the A-10. Flanker Attack would not have described the revised simulation. :roll:

funny u should ask

i'm going threw the basics now

i completed all the trainings till the 3rd A/A Mission

in a few of the missions u fly Mig-29

u probably can select it when creating a mission/playing one

but i'm newby in this game

When I bought it my PC was too slow so I never really did the training missions (except a few)

it even crashed when I enabled 32bit.

 

I have a faster PC now but the framerates are still not how I would like them to be. max 30fps with shocks in it.

 

I hope LOMAC will give a more constant framerate on my system.
