JG14_Jagr Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 I got WOI and I added the Mirage Factories really good looking Kurnass and Recon Phantom packages..plus the weapons mod from The Mirage Factory as well... I found that on "Unlimited" graphics at 1920X1200 the Phantom cockpit woulddisappear while I was inside the thick clod base.. It didn't happen on lower graphics settings or anything but "inclement" weather.. so.. a pain in the but but not a show stopper by any means. Does anyone know if one or more of the explosion mods works ok in WOI? I have explosion mod #2 but it requires Bunyaps Weapons Pack and I'm not sure if that will cause WOI issues.. anyone tried it yet?
gbnavy61 Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I've experienced the same cockpit disappearance in WOI in the MF Crusaders (I'm not sure if other planes are effected since I've really been just sticking with the 'Saders lately). I set my mission wx to random and if I get "inclement," the fog is inside the cockpit with me and going through the clouds, all I can see is the gunsight on the combining glass. I have a mix of graphics settings, not strictly "unlimited" set so I'm not sure what other commonalities I have. Also my resolution is substantially lower - I think I'm only 1024x960 or a setting higher. No idea on your mod questions. I'm using the MF Weapons Pack May 08.
Shaolin Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 My F-16 pit and a few others show a similar effect - they disappear looking in the general direction of the sun! (With the Netz it happened on my very first flight in WOI - of course without any mods!)

The stock pits disappear ? havnt seen that - have you reported that to TK?

And only when looking toward the sun (when the lensflares appear - but even if I switch them off...)! [...] all I can see is the gunsight on the combining glass. ...and the HUD... And no, didn't report it to TW... ...I'm not used to SW-companys taking their customers serious
