Guest 531_Ghost Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Wrench, you know what they say 'bout big hands don't you? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . big gloves
Royohboy Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 ... the damn things are serial, and my XPS is all usb.Perfectly good throttle and stick set up, sitting in the closet nicely stored in their boxes. Why not use them with a USB-gameport-adapter? I bought a 15€ adapter, and now I can use my old home-built pedals and the Thrustmaster PFCS I bought for 5€ (the very stick I dared only dream of back when it was hot). I know my setup is very low-end, but using an adapter with a perfectly good stone-age HOTAS combo might be an alternative for the budget-minded. Oh, and [nitpick] it's gameport, not serial [/nitpick]
Guest 531_Ghost Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Because he wouldn't have all the goodness of Control Manager that Bob has given us.

Guest 531_Ghost Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 The controllers in the link I provided have problems? If that's so, they are quickly resolved by the awsome tech support staff (some even members here at CA), I assure you. Any hardware issues as well programming ones.

No CH doesn't but i don't want to spend $300 on all the equipment. The x-52 standard has some problems with the centering spring and sometimes software.
