SayethWhaaaa 245 Posted September 21, 2008 Must be a yank thing. They seem to crash into water here. Then again, a lot of our airports are on or spitting distance from waterfronts.
eraser_tr 29 Posted September 21, 2008 Nothing beats Laguardia's runways. Like landing a 737 on a carrier deck!
FastCargo 412 Posted September 21, 2008 Nothing beats Laguardia's runways. Like landing a 737 on a carrier deck! Pffft! That's not even breathing hard. Try a DC-10 on 7400 feet. Or an A300 on 5800 feet. And that's just in California. As far as the Learjet crash...like every other aircraft crash...I don't make any conclusions until the initial safety report is out. FastCargo 412 Posted September 21, 2008 Buildings, mountains, or water. Frankly, I'll take open water over buildings and mountains. FastCargo
