+ace888 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Anyone successfully downloaded 3rd party carrier (Example "Ark Royal") and able to fly from it? I have read about how to place the carrier on the campaign or on the mission. So far it is all the US carriers... I have place a 3rd party carrier in the object folder and try to extract files using KMD to extract objectdata.ini, no success, no file at all??? Not sure if all the 3rd party carriers has all the require files. I compare the US carriers with the 3rd party carrier, many files are not made on the 3rd party carrier (maybe that is why I am unsuccessful??). Yet the 3rd party carrier is under the download section?? Any input Quote
thundercheif Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 I have made several missions using 3rd party carriers. But i use Le Missioneur wich i find far easier to use then KMD. So my advice would be to try that out. Quote
+ace888 Posted October 10, 2008 Author Posted October 10, 2008 Where do I go to download the file? Does it come with a good tutorial of how to use the editor? Under CombatAce download section there is a file about Le Missioneur, but not very informative on how to use the editor - plus the file is suppose to be a tutorial not the main file. Thanks Quote
thundercheif Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Its available at Chek six (the page is in french). As for tutorials i dont know. But if you play around with it for a little while you will figure it out. It took me less than a day to lern it. Quote
Icarus999 Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Yes there is a tutorial but i think its a separate download. I have done a bunch of carrier missions with le missioneur it works great: "> Quote
