DWCAce 19 Posted October 29, 2008 An alumni from my college is supposed to be flying in a brand spankin' new F/A-18 Super Hornet (dunno if it's an E, F, or G) tommorrow. There's going to be a discussion with the students and such, and hopefully a nice departure! This is, to the best of anyone's knowledge, the first F/A-18 visit ( and for that matter, anything with an afterburner) to Nashua. I'll post pics when/if I can get any. tank03 1 Posted November 2, 2008 I work less than a mile from Boire Field and one of my co-workers commented on seeing a military jet going in for a landing. I told him he was mistaken, there is no way an F-18 would be in Nashua. Boy was I wrong! Great pics, wish I had seen it myself.
DWCAce 19 Posted November 3, 2008 You might of even heard it take off from KMHT as well since he stopped there for fuel. Some of the guys at work thought it was the ASTAR 727 taking off...
+ST0RM 145 Posted November 3, 2008 Hey, VFA-136 finally got their new jets! I refueled them on both of their last cruises and they were still flying the Legacy Hornets. Good to see the Echos in service. -S
