Transportation - dropping a load

Just a quick one, skipping the fact that the player can't fly 'propper' transport sorties for the minute, I saw a while ago that there was a discussion about dropping various cargos from transport aircraft. I think one of the products of this dicussion was the (M39?) Jeep model/weapon that can be dropped from Dels's sweet C-130. Has a way of keeping the unit active (ie hitting the ground and staying there, not disappearing into the ground) be figured out? I can't seem to find the thread anymore... or remember what it was called.

I'm pretty sure the way to do it would to make a new type of crater that uses the jeep LOD, specify the jeep as a bomb and point the effects to that specific crater.

 

BTW, with KMD, you can get a pretty nifty hangar screen mission description along the lines of "transport supplies to x location"
