There are a variety of reasons why you are blowing up when hitting the ground.

 

How fast are you going?

What angle are you hitting the ground at?

 

Generally speaking, you don't want to clip the ground, and generally speaking, in real life, if you clipped the ground, your plane would cartwheel, wings would fly off, and you would end up a fireball at the far end of the field.

 

If your trying to belly-land, always make sure that the speed your moving forward is greater than the speed you are falling.

 

 

Now if they dont explode when the clip the ground, they might be using tweaks to strengthen their airframes.

Go into Difficulty turn off Vulnerability then go to next and turn off No Instant Success,Realistic Landings that will do the trick.
