I was wondering how one goes about modifying the avionics data so that you can track and lock on to enemy aircraft at longer ranges.

I believe it is in the individual aircraft Data.ini near the top. in the radar section you can change the search range and strength as well

as the track range and strength. certain planes have better radar than others, but don't let that stop you lol. I have modded one of my Phantoms

radar capabilities to hold her own against any aircraft. (just for fun) I have also given her 70's avionics with ALL the bells and whistles and she can carry

AHM's and all the hi tech A2G weaps.

You need to check the avionics for the said aircraft.
