WOI Hunter

Picked up Spinners SF2 hunter to try it out in WOI then realised it was SF2 only, after having a look at it though I dont see why it shouldnt work in WOI or WOE as it still uses the same lods and avionics packages available to WOI and WOE. I asked Spinners about this and he had origininally intended for the realease to be for all three titles but is at a loss as to why it wont work. Anyone out there have any ideas?

Hrm, did SF2 actually include the cockpit of the hunter so it'd be flyable?

 

I don't think WOI has a hunter pit with it, but you can easily make it flyable through some simple .ini editing found here http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=20789

 

Realized I had forgotten to make the woi AI planes flyable and did that yesterday myself actually.

And there's yet another post around here ... either in the Official WoI Thread above, or probably in the KB in the 'Bunyap Weapons Pak' thread that gives a detailed parts list and full instructions on what needed to get WoI's AI Hunters a full pit, using the bits from WoE, or the F-100 pit if you don't have WoE

 

 

The Knowledge Base is a extreamly usefull tool....time in there is well spent

What, you don't have WoV or SF??? Instructions are the same.

 

you'll also need the Hun for the Mystre/Saar, unless you get ordway's pits (which a SUBSTANTIALLY better!!!)

I already know how to get AI planes flyable but since theres a pit in Spinners' pack I shouldnt have to add another manually as far as I can see its a complete aircraft yet only seems to work in SF2.

Hrm...someone said SF2 has a new radar ranging gunsight in the F-100, that might have been used in the hunter, but I could have sworn I've seen such entries for avionics for years in this sim.
