Using the MF "A" cockpit unless somebody wants to do the the E/F cockpit.

VFA-102 CAG WIP. Gotta move the band a bit more forward, other than that she's pretty much good to go.

Haven't gotten a thumbs up or thumbs down from FC, so waiting on him, but soon.

Hey, Eric.

I just thought of something...

You want the plane captain's 7 pilots' names on that?

...I could get them for ya.

It goes on the port nose gear door, in "blocky" lettering.

Centered on the whole thing, just above that vent.

Also, they've got the Battle "E", on the vertical tails, centered diagonally about 8 inches from the bottom of the leading edge.

Nice... I'm gonna need pictures if you can though.... I'll definitely add them for sure, but if you can.....

Hey guys,

Working as we speak. Minor problem with the ALE-50 when retracted...it 'pokes' through the fuselage when manuvering.

A few other things...might be a bit late on the midnight deadline...

No midnight deadline, just when it's "safe" to upload and distribute is my concern :good:

And when SidDogg PMs me the pictures and I add it to the Diamondback CAG bird, then on my end it'll be good to go....

Well, I'm trying to make sure the 'numbers' are close to correct for the external weapons (ATFLIR, Buddy Pod, etc). It's been damn near impossible to find ANYTHING useful on the Buddy Pod.

A side effect of fixing the ALE-50 issue is that now the decoy looks more convincing when pulling G.

Now that's a good one for a change, usually you fix a bug, then another crops up

What's the issue with the Refuelling pod? References?

Posted

Yep, dimensions, weights, etc. I found the official designation, and cross-referenced the manufacturer to get the gallons capacity, GPM, and diameter...though, strangely, no length.

Took like 30 minutes of trying different google fu techniques...

Well, I've had my hack at it:

Don't try this at home...

YAP's not the only place you can air refuel...

With the team's final testing...very soon...

I know there was a WW2 plane wich could land on the droptanks.. not sure wich fighter it was, the tanks were designed for a emergency "belly" landing...

Nice to see this feature in this game ;-)

FC, and all the rest of the team, outstanding job, I am loving testing, and I havent seen any irregularities so far. Outstanding job yet again.

I really think we can all pat ourselves on our back. As I wrote in the beta readme, that exists only to the testers, I wanted just the F version, and be done with it. Well... I got more than I asked for, and quite honestly glad for what he did, so I have to apply that enthusiasm and creativity to his stuff. It's not as glamorous as the Super... well in some minds it is, but that's okay, it's all about interest, and what he's working on is getting me interested in it, improving it, etc. so once we release this, more fun stuff to come.

Thanks all.

that's nice!

i'll say i'm more intrested in E model than in the F, mostly because it will probably will my airforce replacement aircraft program, and i hope the navy get some too ;D
