AntonisCy Posted November 23, 2003 Posted November 23, 2003 hello guys... this is my first game that has to do with planes but i liked it so i bought it.. i havent installed it yet but i would like to ask if this game is TOO difficult for gamers that havent played any "plane games" yet... is it as difficult as flight simulator? or is it a little bit more easier to learn? ... i really want to play this game.. also if anybody has a link for a mini instructions guide or basic info for playing the game please post it here... thanx in advance
PG_Raptor Posted November 23, 2003 Posted November 23, 2003 Hey! LOMAC has a built in tutorial. I've heard that it is really comprehensive, and it goes from the very basics to the most advanced avionics. Also, the game is scalable, so you should be able to set it at your ideal difficulty. Have fun!
AntonisCy Posted November 23, 2003 Author Posted November 23, 2003 thanx for the info and reply... btw does this game have training AND missions? thanx
Seawolf Posted November 23, 2003 Posted November 23, 2003 There are training missions but they dont have voice overs so you will need to use the "S" key to pause the mission so you can read the text. As long as you understand the basic principles of flight (pitch, roll, yaw) and some basic manuvers you should be just fine. There is a steep learning curve to these sims but stick with it and you will be tearing up the skies in no time. remember- Always fly the aircraft, dont let it fly you. ;)
AntonisCy Posted November 23, 2003 Author Posted November 23, 2003 hehe :) thanx for the info Seawolf
Psychobabble Posted November 24, 2003 Posted November 24, 2003 I don't know if this helps or not, but I bought Flanker 2.5 from Amazon.com for $10 and it has a nice tutorial section with voice overs. It is a predecessor to LOMAC, so the graphics is obviously older, but still a fun sim to fly. Just a thought. -Psychobabble
AntonisCy Posted November 24, 2003 Author Posted November 24, 2003 damn its 2 hard.. i have been trying for 2 days and still cant manage to fly a plane :(
