Doubts

Recommended Posts

Well I have FE but never played too seriously, so I have some doubts before I enter full gameplay with it.

1- Is possible to use new terrains on FE? Can I for example use WW2 China Terrain available here for some Oriental action??

2-Is the Sopwith Camel available as a download?

3-Is possible to play as Japan? And use carriers? I know they are not operative during WW1 but how cool can be operate from a carrier with those kittes?

And that's it. I'm looking for a Japanese attack on Allied positions on the Pacific, so my idea is to repaint some skins and make the Japanese fight against France and UK

1. I guess it's possible, but you'll have to do some modification though.

2. It's available in FE expansion pack, but A-Team made one too before that ( http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ you have to register to be able to download it). Be aware, it's not supported (for new patches etc) for some time I guess. Best to get the Expansion Pack 1

3. Sure, you can play as Japan and fight against Allies, but it would be quite ahistorical, wouldn't it? I mean, the Japanese fought for Allies against Central powers. Plus I don't think there was any airwar in far-east in WW1, perhaps a few reconnaissance planes and that's it?

Don't know about carriers though. I guess they are moddable, too.

For WW2 scenarios you will find terrains and planes made for SFP1
