Guest Joe SharpShooter Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Hi everyone, I am a novice in this super game of WOI, WOE et WOV. I cannot play any longer the WOV et WOE IN MY laptop 1, while laptop 2 -- same ACER -- is with my student daughter. Problem is: MY laptop's CD/DVD drivae works no more. The nest thing about WOI is, we can plat it WITHOUT the CD. I even have copied it in my USB and in a different directory NOT in C (Program), and Zip it. My favorite is an INTERCEPT Mission with my F-4 Kurnass n Squadron of a minimum of TWO, max. 16 same virds. I ALWAYS carried the Air-to-Ground missles the Maveric 65B (there r new variants I checked at www.f16.com, dunno how to mod it so I can use the new variants) which worked nicely in that I can make KILLS of so many TU-16Bear et MiGs 21, 23 that is EASIER to drop using the A-to-G Maverick that trying to do the same v. the AGILE, crazy MiG17! When Mission was Accomplished, I rarely click ACCEPT on RIGHT bottom, coz I wish I could later on PLAY AGAIN same MISSION. To no avail silly me. Try as I might, its a guess work. That MISSION in year 1983 is better, since my birds -- F-16Netz or the legendary F4E Kurnass could carry the Israeli PYTHON 3, instead of of the MISSIOn in 1970s cappable of using only the short range less accurate missiles made in the USA at the time. SHAFIR is OK. Kudos to Israel fo he PYTHON et SHAFIR.. So, my silly Qs r: how can one COPY such mission??? Btw, I managed to able to start "tweaking" a little bit .ins. I also have the APPACHE, Longbow, the latest LOCK ON COMBAT, yet, cannot play them anymore due to same CD drive problem. Byw again, I love these air combat games as I was a Skydiver... Any suggestion? My thanks man... Quote
+Dave Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 There is no way to save random generated missions. I wish we could though because this sim can throw some great surprises in the single mssions. Quote
MaverickMike Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Dnt know about saving missions. if Dave says its impossible then it definately is impossible As far as the games you are unable to play you can get a no cd crack for them. As long as you actually own the game then there shouldnt be any legality issues. Quote
+Spectre_USA Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I would avoid the mention of CD cracks and stuff hereabouts. As to the saving of single, and even campaign missions, I have been "campaigning" for them since beta testing SF:P1. My newest tirade is over in the Thirdwire forums, go lend some support! Quote
