WOE Weapon (modded) Loadout Problems

Cheers everyone,

 

I'm about to go nuts after reading manuals for the last 2 days.

What I'm basically trying to do, is simply install aircraft, like let's say the F-15C.

The plane works fine, but I can't select any mondern weapons on it, like the amraam.

I tried two different weapon packs, which install properly, but still show no weapons.

I tried everything by the book: Installed WOE, the latest patch, then the weapons pack, then

added some aircraft. Not ONE weapon loadout will work.

Comparing the .ini files did not reveal a problem. The Designated weapons correspond with the ones in the

weapons folder.

Your help would be very much appretiated,

Just solved the problem ! Finally I can use modern weapons. It was a problem with the Oct. 08 patch and the weapons.ini and was fixable with the new version of the weapons editor.

Is it just me or does it seem that the weapon fix should be a sticky in General Discussion rather than in the Knowledge Base since it is appearing not many go there......

Well, with all the other issues folks have, soon enough everything would be stickies which makes for a crowded general discussion forum.

 

The problem is that you can't force people to look at the knowledge base before posting a question. Also, the search function is a little porked, especially in terms of alpha numeric identifiers.

 

If everyone would at least do a search on their problem before they post their question, I guarantee 80 percent of the questions asked would never appear...
