ndicki Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 This is a Rhodesian Hunter in the Royal Rhodesian Air Force colours which were carried up until 5th March 1970, when the Rhodaf dropped the "Royal" prefix and adopted the green-and-white insignia. Any interest? Quote
+sony tuckson Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 May I suggest you to include some transparency in the decals, so they won't shine that much otherwise, very nice work Quote
ndicki Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 Not sure how that works... Is it by using a greyer alpha channel, do you mean? They are a bit bright, I admit! Quote
+russouk2004 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 On alpha layer ...just lower the opacity...a tad Quote
ndicki Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 OK, got the idea. Thanks - this look any better? Quote

ndicki Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 I think you may read this, my friend: TW Color System, by Geezer Very interesting. What he says mirrors trouble I've had finding the correct colour balance for some of the aircraft I've been doing, too. Green has been an especial problem! I've also actually got to the point of considering renouncing the use of decals for insignia except serial and codes, in fact. Quote
