Normal with "hard" guns vs. Hardcore with "normal guns?

Aye as per the download page

 

1. Hard Core Damage Model patch (OPTIONAL)

Makes all aircraft tougher to kill (i.e. including your craft and all AI)

 

2. Normal Damage Model patch (OPTIONAL)

Use this to revert from Hardcore back to Normal

 

and vice versa.. whatever you run, is what you well use in sim...
