Olham 164 Posted March 19, 2009 No big thing: when I plan the flight, I check, how far the total round trip is. When it says "60 miles", I fill in petrol for 90 miles, to have a safety plus. But often, when I warped, it didn't last till return to base. Okay, I had fights on the way - but that's what I filled in the safety plus for. Any ideas, what goes wrong there? +Polovski 460 Posted March 19, 2009 Warp calculations mess up fuel. Normally it lasts a lot longer in warp, so not realistic, however if you warp miles off course or round and back around waypoints to "patrol" you may use a lot more. (or have a leak). Cpt.Kremmen 0 Posted March 19, 2009 Also, if I remember right rotary engines had sometimes a bit unpredictable fuel consumption. Why would that be beats me.
