Gous 0 Posted March 21, 2009 Does Alt+Tab work in OFF for you? It is rather strange as it works in CFS3 for me but not in OFF. Note that Alt+Tab minimizes applications.
sitting_duck 3 Posted March 21, 2009 If i go thru a game using the off manger, alt-tab gets me out of the game,,,but find it impossible to get back in.. so for quick combat,,i just run a shorcut to cfs3.exe for mp,,i run a shortcut thru cfs3mp.exe I know this does nothing for campaigns... there is a "run windowed" option somewhere, that i think lets you run the game like any other window, dont know what other implications it has on how the game plays. Jammer28 0 Posted March 21, 2009 Just tested Alt+Tab. I was able to minimize the game but it locked up. Not windows, just the game. I have tried different ways of minimizing OFF ( Ctrl+Alt+Del, Cntrl+Shift+Escape and the windows key) with the same results. I had OFF paused once and my grandson hit the windows key. By the time I got back to it, about 10 minutes, the computer was locked up too.

ALT-TAB works for me, but I noticed I have to use ALT-TAB to get out of OFF and to get back in (can't just click OFF on the task bar). In fact, I used it just this morning to grab and edit some screen shots while still running OFF.
Dej 17 Posted March 21, 2009 ALT-TAB works for me, but I noticed I have to use ALT-TAB to get out of OFF and to get back in (can't just click OFF on the task bar). In fact, I used it just this morning to grab and edit some screen shots while still running OFF. ALT+TAB works for me but only if I have another 'foreground' app. to switch to, i.e. if I have Photoshop open and then start OFF it'll ALT+TAB fine. If I try to ALT+TAB out of OFF then start Photoshop it'll sometimes work but not always and is prone to crashing OFF. On-screen alerts, e.g. updates to AV, keyboeard/mouse battey warnings are the very devils and Polovski advises to turn off whatever you can in that regard. Hiccup 0 Posted March 21, 2009 I find that using the winkey then selecting the program you want from the menu doesn't cause me any lock ups. I will use notepad to copy the current flight names to then print it so I can use there names when needed for claims. In doing it this way you are not minimizing off. Works for me anyway. +Polovski 460 Posted March 21, 2009 Funny thing Alt Tab has always crashed my PC even in plain CFS3 (and over several PCs). Vista64 works better in this regard. I find I can do it once maybe twice, if I first pause, then bring down the menu (Esc). Wait a few seconds then firmly press and hold alt first, then a second later press tab. Odd but works for me. Come back soon though or it hangs.
