It's interesting to see the obvious gap in the 30's age bracket. Young children, little extra cash, and no extra time! I don't miss those days. I'm happy to be in the most popular age group for many reasons (No. 1 son off to college soon though).

Welcome, Macklroy! Enjoy the waiting-for-delivery time.

It will, at hindsight, be the longest lifespan you had as an OFF pilot (Lol!)

55 yo here added 3 Grandchildren in less than 2 years makes me feel really old. Two of these live with me in my house chasing one that is alost to the terrible Twos make me feel really old. The 19 month already knows the word Fly and sets on my lap and Flies her plane in BHAH, just not very well, but sometimes last longer than me.

Flirting shamelessly with our age here .

Well, if the 40 - 60 beams are growing most, no wonder. That's were the money is! (or should be? Lol!!!)

 Well I passed the "common age" by several days? errr years so now I see why my reflexes may not be up to competition with most of you.

Oh well I'm still on the green side of the grass and my elbows don't hit wood when I wake up and try to rise in the mornings.

It's still lots of fun to fly (and get shot down frequently) so I'll be the poster boy for the 95% of you who can say "Well if he can keep going that long so can I".

A very interesting survey.

Captain Dirt and Captain Tuba!

On standard checks, the medic told me, that you both are airworthy.

In fact he said, that physically, you were in good condition.

But he detected a melancholic touch in your conversations, which he

hopes, will not end in a depression about your age!

Well, before he returns to get you to the hospital, or brings strange

medicines, I tell you, what I think is a good cure!

You will enter your cockpits now, and perform some Tango with the

enemy, to entertain the ground crew. And don't come back with left

over ammunition! Is that understood?! Fine! There you go!

Dismissed!
