Fun with your own WW1 pilot pics

Not a big problem, when you have Photoshop, or something similar.

I'm going to try this after I find some more youthful pics. I looked old when I was young and now fuggitaboudit. I'm accused of being a cradle robber and get senior discounts without asking. I get the damnedest looks when I shop for games.

I couldn't resist; made another version from the two pics.

I wanted you look more the possible age, so I darkened your beard, eyes and eyebrows,

put more shadows to the face etc.

(Being a graphic designer, that is quickly done with Photoshop.)

Wow.. I look a lot more sinister there.. hehe.

 

I had picked out a young photo of myself, because most of the pilots back then were really young.

 

I did do one of my self at an older age though.. the grinning, young and innocent rabu, seen in the earlier photos is now replaced by tired pilot, hardned by the air war. Having some how survived, he now commands Escadrille Lafayette wielding a stern hand in trying to train the new recruits he must watch them die each day.. the Great War goes on:

Yeah, he looks like a serious, but good-hearted commander, whom I'd like to have flown for.
