Hasse Wind 46 Posted May 15, 2009 Jani, You've just bought the best sim available on the market and definitely the best WW1 flight sim ever made! But be prepared to lose a lot of pilots - this sim is HARD. But also extremely enjoyable...
Olham 164 Posted May 15, 2009 Welcome in the greatc world of "Over Flanders Fields", Jani! You will now go through some difficult times. 1. the waiting - you can't do anything but read the posts and "sticky threads" above (lots of good info) 2. the learning - this is better than any sim I know. That means, you will not be an instant pilot, nor an instant ace. You will have to suffer a while, if you want to reach full realism. But it is rewarding! 3. the dying - you will lose many good pilots, even when you have learnt it all. Sometimes you may shout: "Never again will I touch this killer sim!" Fortunately, I don't know anyone, who had that disease for more than two days. And if you need advice: somewhere on earth, there is always some pilot online. Cheers!
