I was just playing WoI a few minutes ago. Anyway, this is what happened. I was assigned an intercept mission by Red Crown. I poped my F-4E to power and a minute or two later, I could already see the Mig-21's i was supposed to go hunting. I told my wingman to cover me (I wanted the kills all for myself), and I poped one Mig with an AIM-7. He blew up like what you'd expect. When I started engaging the second Mig, it was like he HAD A GOD MODE or something with him  !!!! I mean, I loosed off 4 AIM-9's and my last 3 AIM-7's (one missed), AND HE STILL KEPT FLYING LIKE NOTHING HIT 'EM  !!!! Is this a bug or something  ???

Sure wish I had what he had... :shok:

What are your weapons realism set to?

Also, it may not be entirely unrealistic, I saw a show on the gulf war interviewing an F-18 pilot who shot down a mig-21. He said it was hit my 3 missiles and he was shocked to see it was still in the air. Game wise, they may have just grazed him, I've had a few lucky hits from missiles that only knock out an aileron or rudder and I'm able to get back to base. Very rare though.

I shot up an Su-9 like that once. All 4 AIM-9s and all I got was his rudder. The vertical stabilizer was still on. I finished him off with a guns kill.

He was level flying... I think the only turn he made was to get to his next checkpoint...
