Flanker562 Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 For the sound gurus... what is the format I have to save .wav files in to make them work in WoX? I noticed it was set at 176kps for most sounds so that's my question of the day. What settings are required for the game to "hear" those sounds, because obviously high quality isn't needed for it.
ST0RM Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Eric, I've got my sounds set like so: 16bit 1 Channel (mono) 11kHz I've seen 22kHz work also. Jeff
Flanker562 Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 Gawd.. okay I'll check it out, thanks man!
Spillone104 Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 The sounds format used in WoX serie are:PCM 11KHz 8bit mono, PCM 22KHz 8 bit mono and PCM 44KHz 8 bit mono.
Fubar512 Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Sounds up to 44100 Hz work fine....as long as your sound card can process them.
Flanker562 Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 Mine can, but for some reason if I drop it in the Sounds it not worky, but the ones above work fine though.... But I managed to get STORMs settings and all is worky
