I have honestly never understood why anyone would cheat in a computer game but nevertheless it has happend in all tha online games i have ever played. My solution has been to join a squad and fly with them. ... I have just been reading the latest threads on the subject. Carl/Stormin from Eagle Dynamics has promised that devs will take a look at it... Its hard to know what that means but he will probably let us now in time Quote
Cretin Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 I strongly agree with ALL of the above. That's why I simply don't even bother with it any more. Can't ever prevent all possible cheats. Too many good hackers. Prevent one cheat and they come up with a new one. Like all of you, I've seen it a thousand times. It isn't that I mind getting shot down. You can learn something if that happens. If you get killed by a cheat, what's to be learned? Quote

Cretin Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 I have noticed that most of these types have bought into "the end justifies the means". The "end" for them is more kills than anyone else. I feel sorry for them because they are really missing out on all of the best, most interesting, most challenging aspects of the sim. They deny themselves any real sense of accomplishment. ARCHER Posted January 11, 2004 Author Posted January 11, 2004 (edited) my view is i dont want to see hyper lobby going down the toilet, and lockon to for that matter ,takes power of the people to cut the 12 year olds out , that think there hip by cheating, this game has so much to offer,some just dont see it that way ,i know the old story youll never stop cheating but it helps to report them, and cut down on this 12 year old nonsence.
