orsin Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Better widesky for SF2 series View File This is an extraction from a super vannila pack of WOX that we share in the small circle of Insky team. This time we update it to fit SF2 series. it is just an light update for the excellent Widesky 1.0 from Cellisky it has resolved the horizontal light band issue that has been around for quite a while some old effects such as the twilight has been abandomed, using the original effect from TW instead. This has also improved the darkness at night. This update has only been tested with SF2. We do not guarantee it would work the same way in earlier titles. Please use it on your own discretion. Enjoy it, and feel free to report any problem. Insky_orsin Submitter orsin Submitted 07/06/2009 Category Environmental Mods Quote
Spinners Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 An old friend returns! Chapeau! Thanks orsin and, of course, thanks Cellisky. Quote
SFP1Ace Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Great mod but i've noticed some clipping issue with nearby clouds. Sometimes some clodus that are near the plane disappear when i look around the cockpit or orbit the camera around the plane in external view and appear again once i change the angle or gain some distance. Other than that its brilliant! Quote
squid Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 This mod apart from being a definite SF necessity has also another priceless extra :) :) F5 ("chase") camera the way i have been wanting it from day one of SF :) The viewlist.ini in the pack alters the cameras, and although i prefer the stock flyby camera and the stock F6 camera the F5 works exactly as it should had from the very begining :) Its stuck to the plane and rolls with it. Great for SF movies :) gives a "Fighter Pilot" movie feel, especially if you modify the position of the camera near some LANTIRN pylon :P lol .Or even the early Topgun footage from the tail of Phantoms and Skyhawks ....
