+quack74 329 Posted July 23, 2009 Here are the two versions of Ernst Udets Fokker Dr.1's. Originaly belonging to Hans Kirchstein of Jasta 6, 586/17 was handed down to Ltn. Ernst Udet of Jasta 4. It has been argued that Udet this Dr.1 was painted over in red and light blue while with Jasta 4. Some say it remaind black and white. You can decide for your self. Thats why I made two  . And also I included a generic Jasta 4 Fokker Dr.1. Said to have a light blue cowel, wheels and struts. The blue matches Udets red and blue Dr.1. Hope it's close. . They will be available when approved. Enjoy.

Cagallon 2 Posted July 23, 2009 All your ace skins are GREAT! Campaigns are too much funny and eye candy with those skins. Keep up the good work! I found info about the one with the Blue Tail. I mean this one: Jasta 11 Blue Tail (LINK) It was Ltn Mohnicke's Dr1 - Date March 1918 I found this pic with his profile: Manfred von Richthofen y Ltn Eberhardt Mohnicke, March 1918
+quack74 329 Posted July 24, 2009 Yeah I learned that after I did the skin. Also I've come to my own conclusion that Mohnicke's Dr.1 most likely looked like the below photos. It seems to appear this way, in Fokker Dr.1 Aces of WWI by Osprey, on page 27. It's a line up photo at Lechelle in late march. I've also seen a artist's rendering of this color scheme as well. I cant remember who, but it was a painting of a Jasta 11 line up. I'm sure someone is going to dispute me on this  . Well I'll post this one so there will be both.
