Siggi 10 Posted August 10, 2009 Soon as I try to get into instant combat I get the message telling me to put the correct CD in the drive. There was only the one DVD with this game wasn't there? Because if not it means I've left the other disc laying around somewhere, but I'm not going to start hunting for it if it doesn't actually exist.
77Scout 3 Posted August 10, 2009 It will be looking for the CSF3 CD from Microsoft (not the OFF DVD). If you mean the CSF3 DVD from Ubisoft, I think there is only one DVD but someone who owns that version should confirm.
+Polovski 460 Posted August 10, 2009 If it's the DVD version yes 1 DVD. If CD no, there are 2.
Siggi 10 Posted August 10, 2009 I was being a dumbass, three months of not playing it and I'd forgotten it's the CFS3 disc that needs to go in. Well, a brief go and WTF! Albs were performing maneouvers I don't remember them doing before, wings coming off properly, fires starting after I'd broken off attack, followed by small and bigger explosions. Top wing came off my Se5. Camel is still a babe. I'm not sure if the sounds have been redone, as I recently cranked up my sub-woofer. Terrain is glorious. Only issue is my FPS seems to have taken a bit of a hit, but that might be a QC vs Campaign thing. The stuttering made things a bit uncomfortable a few times. I'll play with the settings. Anyway, I'm all fired up now to get my pilot back into action. He's been training the lads at home for the past three months but I hear he's on his way back to take over as SQ adjutant. Excellent job chaps, you bloody well rock!
