Guest British_eh Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Three new missions, with three different craft. All are created at 100 % Realism, and DiD, with the Read me file in each one to help with immersion qualities. Two are F ( Fun) series and one is R ( no, not restricted, Realistic) Try flying all of them with no Labels or Tac. I am biased, but the SE5a mission is a cracker! Enjoy, British_eh Quote
Bullethead Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Forgive me for being drunk and/or just dense, but I can't figure out how to select the mission to begin with. I put the SE5 low-level night mission in the folder specified in the readme, but I don't see it on the list to select in either QC or QS. Just the stock missions. And WHO is "Giovani" and where is the option for him to prep my plane? Quote

OlPaint01 Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I think WM said they go into the Missions>Scenerios>(specific Nation Folder) OlPaint01 Quote

Guest British_eh Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 (edited) Hi there: Follow this to locate Missions - CombatACE Forum > Downloads > Over Flanders Fields by OBD Software > Maps, Missions, and Campaigns Downloads are located at the top of the page on the taskbar that runs horizontally across the page. Those with the Super Patch as per Winder -"Please note that user missions must now reside in \scenarios\'nation'." Those with the older version can follow this: Bullethead : After cutting and pasting the Mission into> Missions - Sub folder > Training, you're good to go. You may want to print/copy any read me/ flight orders/etc. Now, go to your Workshops, and select "All" and not just "Campaign" if you want to log the Mission. Next, go to QC or Campaign, and select Fuel %, Ammo %, and recommended loadout, and of course "Skin". Close QC/ Campaign and go to Task Bar re: Main Menu. Select >Missions, see drop down box and use mouse to scroll down on the arrow, to the mission you have just loaded. Click on to highlight mission, then go to bottom of page and select "Accept". Mission will load in the standard manner. Giovani is my mechanic, and you can see him in the hanger in the new Super Patch. I suppose you'll have to get your own mechanic OlPaint01. I'm not too familiar with Spawns, and have asked PD for assistance, but he's too busy. If you know stuff, am keen to experience the learning curve. Drop me a line. +Olham Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Thank you, British_eh! Now I should get there. Unfortunately I can't fly before the evening. I'm really keen on your Albatros mission. Bullethead: "Giovanni" is my local Italian (best Spaghetti Vongole!) - but how did HE get into this? (Lol!) Quote
OlPaint01 Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 (edited) Hey all, I understand that PD has quit building Phase3 OFF MP missions for The Boys of 60 Squadron. He is concentrating on the IL2 Sim for cooperative multi-player gaming. I have recently joined PD and the Boys flying cooperative missions. PD has a lot of knowledge, considering the many Phase2 OFF MP missions he built for Boys of 60 that are available for download at SOH download library. His last effort IIRC has six missions bundled for Phase3 which can be found in the Off Missions Down Page. It would be great to learn the master's tricks.
