On my last mission, I thought I brought back all my wingmen (left with two, returned with two). After ending the mission, it announced my wingman was KIA. I watched the replay to see if he went down during or after my landing, but nope. I did see that there were some Alb DII's destroyed and the area was probable that they were from the first flight.

So, it appears that OFF or CFS3 doesn't correlate a given casualty with a specific pilot and the other pilots live and die at random.

Is it on the drawing board for this to be straightened out in P4 or later?

Thanks

I have had a similar annomally. I was trying to clear my wingmans tail one flight and was to far away. I watched as he burst into flames, crashed and went BOOM!!.

I land and have my 3 other flight members present. Fill out a claim form, and debrief, says no losses from my flight but one from flight one. I use labels so I know it was my wingy who went boom. Advance time one day and my wingman is still there. Weird.

Perhaps your wingmen did perish during your ill-fated flight, and others joined you. I have lost my wingmen and fled to the nearby flight for protection in numbers.

The deaths and injuries in your squadron are randomly generated by the OFF Manager and have no connection to what happened in your last flight in CSF3. If the team can figure out how to get CSF3 to report back on who died (and they may have already, I don't know) then I would bet we will see see an attempt at making this work in Phase 4.

This is a BIG one for me. I try to keep my mates alive, come to their rescue if I can etc, and keep up on their tallies in the kill board.

However, since its random, it feels like it doesnt matter: definitely lowers the immersion/care factor...

did i miss an option somewhere?

Maybe...the 'Review Mission' buttons have been there all along. Available on campaign screen and QC screen at the bottom.
