Broadside uda Barn Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 I'd like to get rid of the list of items in the top right of the screen: health, ammo left, etc. However, I want to keep the notice that I hit pilot x or y. What's the option for this? Thanks! Quote
sitting_duck Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 f5 (hud) toggles the display and whatever guages you want,,, the bullet hits are something entirely different, they are contolled in cfs3config Quote
Broadside uda Barn Posted August 18, 2009 Author Posted August 18, 2009 Actually, I like the gauges, but it's the listing of 10 or so items in the top right of the screen that I want to disappear: Pilot health, ammo, and a few other items, all in that last on the right. I think it's a command in the CFS3 setup screens... Quote
Check Six Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 F5 (HUD Toggle) will turn off your guages and dials as well as the Ammo counter, heath, altitude etc. Try messing about with Gauge 1, 2, 3 etc with Ctrl+Shift+1 etc, which cycles the types of guages you have showing on your HUD when you toggle it on or off. You know of course that you can use your mouse to grab and movre them around to suit your taste or style. There is another command on Homeboy's card "HUD Units [toggle]" U, Ctrl+F5...so maybe you can remove bits and pieces of the text. The "notice that you hit pilot x or y" is disabled or enabled in your graphics configuration Parameter Editor for Overrides, top right hand side "disable Chat" I think...or it may be the next one or two under that one..."disable advisor messages" or "disable Simulation warnings"...one of those three. +Polovski Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 You can drag the text that is shown along with dials in F5. Use your mouse and move it almost off screen (leave a tiny bit so you can drag it back if necessary). Quote
Olham Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 UncleAl, you must have callus on your tongue from telling them to check the Tips & Cheats. Quote
