Hi folks..been busy working on this one for my friend. His Dad flew 30 plus missions as a rear gunner in Lancasters of 97 Sqn, anyways he wanted a drawing to hang on his wall and this is how its turned out so far...all critiques welcome please.

PS..its a piss poor photo but once completed, I'll get a sharper image, but you can get the idea.

Very nice drawing. It does seem to feature the rear gunner position so that is very apprpriate for your friend. I am not a critic but I can say I think it's fab.

Fab indeed!clapping.gif

The Lanc is outstanding with nice lighting effects

Only trouble I had was detemining it's height

The foreground grass is rather featureless

Maybe a litle irregular tufts or wheel marks from undershoots at the end of the strip

I really hate doing this as I can't do much more than stick figures dntknw.gif

Great job and a really nice gesture Puff!

Thanks folks, I was thinking of extending the grass, but my friend is very happy with it so I thought better than to mess with it lol.

'A Safe Return' Lancaster R for Robert of 97 Sqn on finals.
