how to take old SF 1 mods and use them in SF 2

I loved the effects mods for the SF1 series and wish i knew how to bring them over to SF2 to make it look and sound even better. like i wish i could use the dueces effects pack and sounds for SF1. Anyone know how to do this?

should only need to copy your Gen 1 effects AB and sounds and paste them to your appropriate Gen 2 folder. not 100 percent sure on effects but ive transferred several birds from NF4 to SF2E with out much issue.

ya planes will carry over but not the effects, the effects will default to the stock effects since the game uses a new file system

In the new file system, make an "Effects" folder and drop them in there.
