Check Six Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I'm going to build a 1/32 scale SE5a Wolsely Viper, possibly in Mick Mannock's livery. Does anyone have any good colour photos of the SE5a I can use as a guide, particularly of the Wolsely Viper engine. Also if anyone has a colour profile of Mannock's SE5a, that would be nice. Photos posted here or links to sites will be greatly appreciated. Quote
Burning Beard Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Check in the model section at the Airdrome, there are at least one SE5 builds going on right now. Beard Quote
Rickitycrate Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Big help I am. I have a book "Aircraft in Profile Vol.1" with color pics but I do not have a working scanner right now. I do have an extra copy of the book tho. Show five aircraft including McCudden's not Mannocks. Quote

+Olham Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 This is what I found at RODEN's website: http://www.rodenplant.com/Gallery/607/607.htm But it's not for Mannock's craft. Quote
sandbagger Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 This is what I found at RODEN's website: http://www.rodenplant.com/Gallery/607/607.htm But it's not for Mannock's craft. In the coming release should be 412 SE5 skins, at least one of which is Mannock's Quote
Rickitycrate Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 That's exciting Sandbagger. Sounds like a lot of work just to do the research let alone the skinning. Thanks for the info. Quote
