Siggi Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 How does one apply AA to OFF via the NVidia CP? I can find the CFS3.exe and apply it to that but have no idea where to apply it to OFF. Or does one do it from the config-panel in Workshop? I know I must have had it running before but my memory is shot.
Rickitycrate Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Siggi, right click on desktop click on Nvidia click manage 3D Settings cliclk program settings select a program, will dropdown a list find cfs3exe. enter your settings and then tick the add box I hope this is what you meant.
Rickitycrate Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I reread your post and see you did this. I do believe that when you do this it is also the default OFF panel and should reflect that in you OFF performance. Remember to tick the "add" box near the cfs3.exe box
sitting_duck Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 am not sure i understand your question correctly.....cfs3.exe IS the game......all off manager does is handle the "dynamix" segment,,,ie..looks at your active pilot, and copies over a ton of stuff in your directory so as to reflect the actual situation you are in. most obviouse would be front lines...weather,,, lol..so,,to try and set antialising in off would only mean you want the lines in the welcome screen crisper... sorry if i misunderstood your question.
Siggi Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 Well that's odd then, because even at x8 FSAA I'm still seeing jaggies in the game. And that's at 2560x1600 resolution. I'll go back through the settings and see if I missed anything. Thanks chaps. :)
+Polovski Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 I don't think the profile thing works for CFS3. Try making your main profile the same and see what happens, also you probably need to set it in cfs3config too Siggi. Try 4X then set it to enhance app setting in Nvidia panel. I thought the tips in the FAQ went over this.
