ndicki 22 Posted October 26, 2009 I've just been following this idea up - it's incredible the stuff they all had, and how many different factions there were. It would give you the chance to fight against just about any late-war fighter, regardless of its origin... So Camels vs N24s, for example... The only aircraft that nobody seems to have used are the later SPADs and the SE5. No idea why. Fascinating stuff...
ndicki 22 Posted October 26, 2009 I've asked MontyCZ, just to be on the safe side... It should be fairly obvious which side this one's on!
deep 5 Posted October 26, 2009 Sounds like a great new campaign!
+Gepard 11,323 Posted October 27, 2009 Planes were not widely used in russian civil war. It was the last big cavallery war.
ndicki 22 Posted October 27, 2009 Very true - it wasn't like Flanders. But while I'm not going to do a campaign or anything - no idea how, for a start - there are some nice paint schemes!
+Gepard 11,323 Posted October 29, 2009 You would need a terrain. But if you have ever seen the wide and emptyness of russian plaines or the endless woodland, rivers as big, that you can't see the opposite bank, then you can imagine that it would be a very boring terrain. ndicki 22 Posted October 29, 2009 I can imagine! No, as far as I'm concerned, it's a non-starter from that point of view. But it gives me one or two odd paint schemes to do when I get bored...
