Dave Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Someone's freq got mixed with ours on the UHF and there are 2 Vipers at a range dropping GBU-38's. I guess they dropped them too as they were calling TTI (time to impact). Pretty damn cool. Breaks up an otherwise slow day.
ST0RM Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 You have the prototype AT-6B headed your way from Beech Field. Flightaware has it landing around 1630EST.
Dave Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 A Russian airliner landed as I was getting off duty. TU-144? It has 3 engines in rear.
Typhoid Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 (edited) A Russian airliner landed as I was getting off duty. TU-144? It has 3 engines in rear. I'm pretty sure the Tu-144 has 4. Edited October 26, 2009 by Typhoid
ST0RM Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 The Russians are over in the US for the Open Skies and START Treaties. It was most likely a Tu-154. A-Net photo: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Yuri-A-Gagarin/Tupolev-Tu-154M-LK-1/1427635/L/
