+Wrench Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 The pit's only available in the original WoV. You'll need to extract EVERYTHING, and recreate the cockpit in SF2. Your "parts list" is below Unless, of course, you purchase Raz's... wrench kevin stein Quote
TurtleHawk Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Sorry if this is a dumb question, is there a cat extractor specifically for the second gen. games...? Quote
+Wrench Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 No, not yet. TK has said something about new utilities, but.... at any rate, Gerwin's works on both TOS and NextGens: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=7933 be advised, it unpacks the ENTIRE cat, so you'll need to move (ie: copy/paste) the cat to be extracted to a seperate folder, and extract it there. Good thing is, once you've gotten the file(s) you need, you can just delete extraction folder wrench kevin stein Quote
+FastCargo Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Actually, you don't need to move the CAT file. Gerwin's extractor will create a directory named "Cat File" and dump all the extracted files into it. Example, if you wanted to extract Objectdata10.cat, you simply drag the CAT file over the Cat extractor. Windows will ask if you want to run the Cat extractor, once you click Yes, a Command Line window will pop up, and Windows will create a directory called Objectdata10, then dump all the extracted files into it. It will even create subdirectories where appropriate. Easy as pie. FC Quote
TurtleHawk Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Thanks for the replies. Where does the extractor place the Cat File? TH Quote
+FastCargo Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 It puts the CAT directory in the directory the original CAT file was in. FC Quote

+MigBuster Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 The useless sight as you put it is your bombing sight when you have bombs selected - its pretty useless for rocket attacks. "Basic CCIP for A-6A to simulate a DIANE level bombing system. " TK pretty much said he left the A-6 Pit out of SF2V because they didnt have the cash or time to program a working DIANE. So he removed it instead of having an A-6 with no bombing system at all. Quote
