Question about modifying a Campaign

In the old series I could change planes in established campaigns and they worked great.

My favorite was to drop the F-18 in and run it.

 

I have tried this with SF2 and it does not work.

 

Has anyone tried? Or does anyone know the procedure to do this?

Just tried it, it works fine. I transferred a custom campaign from an old WoE install into SF2, and other than having to add the odd aircraft or two, everything worked as it did before. Did you add the campaign folders and files to your mod folder? If so, and it still isn't working, then double check everything.
