MiG-21FL Type-77 Trishul

The production of the MiG-21s in India under license by Hindustan Aeronautics in Nasik started

with the MiG-21FL in 1966 in four phases starting with the assembly of CKD kits, moving on to

subassemblies, parts, and finally advancing to production from scratch.

205 MiG-21FLs, designated Type 77 and nicknamed Trishul ("Trident), were built in India between

1966 and 1972; the first one built entirely from Indian-made components was delivered to the IAF

on 19 October 1970, with the first Indian-made R11F2S-300 powerplant leaving the assembly line

on 2 January 1969.

In the late 1970s, the IAF began acquiring MiG-21M/MFs, consequently a large part of the MiG-21FL

fleet were sent into storage.

However in the mid-1980s, these FLs were pulled out of storage and retrofitted with two extra

pylons and were fitted with IFF-400 antennas(on the nose).

Whats's in:

- two flyable planes

- Type 77 with GP-9 gunpod (13 skins)

- Type 77 (late) with 4 pylons and IFF-400 antenna (5 skins)

- MiG-21 cockpit

- IAF Pilot (76.IAP-Blackbird's reworked)

- New Mig-21FL userlist without India

- Dedicated sounds

- Historical Serial Numbers

canopy opens as usual with 10 key.

Known Issues: none

- White 'ghosts' in the cockpit - solved!

To Install:

A very well built addon. I haven't been able to test it thoroughly, but it is obvious that a lot of time was taken to build the mod.

Great job guys.

Its in one of the SF2 series games. Probably SF2I.

Yes, it is.

Next a SPF1 model, made on a classic PF.

Any news for SP1this.gif

We (Spillone & I) planned an SF-1 version adding the parabrake to a basic PF.

I have this plane on my HD but this is not a FL is a real PFS (the tail is different).

We said: better than nothing ...

But now there is a complete new Type-77 in the works (not by me), but that I tested ...

... be confident it will arrive.

We pray for SF1 variant, and we hope that someone will hear our prayers ...:brr:

Well this was (in Indian hands) a very effective machine .... maybe the best Mig-21 ever. So I'm with You.

The plane that was in testings for Indo-Pak mod I think that's in stand by from several months ...

.... the reason is probably that in SF-2 there is yet a very good one and all new mods are coming for SF-2.

So I think that the quick & perfect solution should be SF-2.

Otherwise maybe the new FL one of these days suddenly will arrive ....

I'm sorry.

PS: This is a SF-2 plane, too.
