Removing Aircraft Mismatches

This post was longer, but there is one little thing i have to check before i repost.

As far as i can tell thou, i think its possible to have different planes in the hosts directory without causing mismatches for ppl joining.

Its the planes in the mission that have to be the same...if you host with a different version of a plane then a mismatch will occure....eg,my n-17 has been altered to hold 2500 rounds.....bingo...we mismatch.....

this is why groups that fly together as a tight knit group can mod away to their heartd content as long as everyone sticks with the program...even then you get nights when you pull your hair out...

a good way around this is to have a modded and a none modded install....fly the modded with your online group.... fly the completly none modded with any who wish to join....

Yep,,but my hat's too small to pull a rabbit that big out,,,so cant help you there. And actually, thats the type of mismatch you almost want to happen,,,otherwise,,ppl can cheat,,,bullet mass=10000000

 

All this will mean is that if someone with a zillion addons hosts lets say your trainbusters,,and i have a stock directory,,i will be able to join them without the host having to go nuts selecting "specific" aircraft for the mission..

IF THE HOST ONYL SELCTS A SINGLE AC SAY THE STOCK ALBY THEN UNLES THE MISSION IS CALLING FOR SPECIFIC ADDON AIRCRAFT THERE WILLNOT BE A MISMATCH, THIS IS HOW IT IS WHEN I HOST AND TRUST ME GUYS YOU ALL DOTN HAVE NEARLY THE STANDALOEN STUFF I DO IN MY INSTALL AND I CAN HAVE THE VASCO ACES OR EVEN STOCK GAMES JOIN MINE AND VICE VERSUS, THE KEY IS TO KNOW WHAT YOUR HSOTING(MISSION AIRCRAFT)

if the aircraft type is 2, then the game dont seem to give two xxxx's whats in whos directory.

 

I just did mp with vonguber, and i got a ton of planes in my directory from cfs3 (love the spitfire). I changed the aircraft type from 0 to 2, and no mismatches.
