Re skinned stand alons

I have several re-skinned aircraft I would like to use in OC..How do I add these aircraft complete so they show up in OC??

Where do I have to add what to what, so the BHAH will see and allow me to use my reskinned aircraft?? As stock aircraft..They are reskinned DrI and fokker DVII's..

HH, the skins belong into this folder:

 

(Your game folder) > Campaigns > campaign data > skins

 

In QC, you can now choose the plane type, and right of that, the skin.

 

Best to give your skins names to recognise them - add some name at the end, like:

 

off_Alb_DIII_early_t_Jasta 15 1917 Hobbit.dds

 

When they where ace skins, just replace the ace name with yours.

What do you mean, UncleAl? 3D Models maybe not, but skins, he can use.

On the subject of skins has anyone noticed in QC or campaign when you add your personnel skin that one or two other planes in the flight has the same skin as your personnel skin or is it my computer.

BOBDAV, the aircraft on the ground may use your skin - in flight, they shouldn't.

Actually sometimes the AI will fly the skin you are using. I had it happen the other day in Campaign mode, I was flying my Rising Sun Spad in a very large flight of Spads and sure enough there were about 3 more Rising Suns in the flight mixed in with normal US94th stock skins.

Yes, I had the same thing happen - and it is a glitch as in my case a 95th SPAD was flying the same skin as me - Frank Lukes 27th Aero skin.

 

The Rising Sun incident and yours sound similar.

 

Not a big deal just some custom skin strangness.

Not sure what you mean there Olham - are you talking about parked a/c? In my case it was a 95th ace Frank Weir - so he was a flying.

 

But again, it only happened once - no big deal.

Yes, I meant the parked aircraft. They do have my personal skin.

But I wouldn't mind, as long as I can fly it alone.

So far never had another near me flying "my" skin.
