Olham 164 Posted January 20, 2010 Here's the link to a diorama (photos), wonderfully built - with an athmosphere I could really feel in to. You almost wished to be sitting by that oven with a mug of coffee, looking at the Albatros. http://www.electronicaviation.com/articles/Hobby/

Maeran 20 Posted January 20, 2010 A week later it was smashed up in a muddy trench. That's no way to treat a nice stove.

Slartibartfast 153 Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) Poor Olham would have to clean the rounds as well never know the belts might get all tangled in the mess... Thats if some enterprising person hasn't aquired the rounds for his own personal fireworks show... But on a Serious note it does look pretty... well for a German plane... Olham 164 Posted January 21, 2010 Oh my goodness! I knew the Vintage Aviator, but hadn't been there for some time! These pics are superb! Please post this link for OvS, under "An Albatros for the Black Baron of Boistrancourt". (OvS' sub title).
Bullethead 12 Posted January 21, 2010 Amazing model, Olham. Thanks for the link. Too bad I already burned all my models last week....
Dej 17 Posted January 22, 2010 Albatri, eh? I prefer them with the fabric off. They don't fly, so we don't end up shooting 'em down. Better for the German pilots and better for our conscience.
Olham 164 Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) Yeh, dream on, boy! (Until splintering wood, shredded fabric and boiling oil from your screaming engine will wake you up - Mmuahahahahahaaaaa!!!) Edited January 22, 2010 by Olham
