Olham 164 Posted March 18, 2010 With a good Jasta, and excellent wingmen, it is possible! Killed two Bristol F2b, and damaged two others badly - and my kite was only hit by one gunner, who was already falling to his death. (see: "Screenshots" for more action). What a debut with Jasta 26 that was!!! They are great pilots and fighters, and I made sure to join, when "Herr Meier" had already left. So that should become a hot September 1917 there! Hasse Wind 46 Posted March 18, 2010 There's no need to be afraid of Herr Göring, unless your pilot is able to see the future and sense what becomes of that ambitious young fighter pilot. And now you're definitely jinxing your current pilot's career by bragging about being a Brisfit killer. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the gods of war decide to punish you for your hubris and send a nasty Brisfit to shoot you down in the next mission. Olham 164 Posted March 18, 2010 Shall it come - I will ram it straight to hell with Thor's hammer! Mmuahahahahahaaaaa!!!! (But you're right - that's how it usually goes then).
appraiserfl 0 Posted March 18, 2010 Yes, well your man will be dead soon as I am sure he will meet up with my up and coming future ace of RFC56th, one Mr. Massive Jumblees, soon. You see I can brag about Massive Jumblees because he has already managed to survive the ramming of a train which landed him a cheery hospital stay of 20 days and now he just survived a very horrid shooting down, one which caused his damage meter to fall to 19 and his plane to be reduced to a smoldering pire. But the man carries on I swear! Massivie Jumblees is untouchable so you better beware up there!
Hasse Wind 46 Posted March 18, 2010 I believe Mr. Jumblees just got the attention of several vengeful gods of war.
Olham 164 Posted March 18, 2010 Okay, that looks like two bigmouths may clash soon. If you are flying a Brisfit, you are in a better position. That beast is so hard to kill. And when it comes near you, you hear an engine sound, that can run goose skin down your back, oh boy! To be honest - there was a lot of luck with me in this case; and very good wingmen kept the gunner occupied.
