fixed tail hook and aircraft can now land and stop on a carrier

 

There has been a little confusion about the designers of this aircraft. I in no-way claim to have built this aircraft, just enjoyed tweaking it.

I included a readme.txt in the download that states this!

Hey Wrench:

 

I remember that, but I thought there was a problem with landing on carriers. Son of Gun, I looked all over for that. Wasn't there still a problem with the hook snagging the wires on the carrier?

nope, works fine in WoE, and in SF2 (expecially the KAW mod, and with the new F9F-2 that coming)

 

check your data ini, you forgot a critical line in the top section, too.

Did you apply the fix for the F9F-5P? If not I can upload that. Also I can't figure out how to get the nose wheel to turn in the correct direction when taxing on the ground. (if you could taxi in the air, I'd be impressed:)).

The file I uploaded includes the original readme.txt plus my own readme that gives the credit to original designers. I will try to edit my upload to give them credit on the download page itself so there is no confusion.

nope. worked fine before. I did a whole carrier campaign with that one.
