GhostDog Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 Carl 'Stormin' Norman has confirmed in this thread on UBI that they are working on an SU-25T (SU-39 in western terminology) add on for the Russian/CIS market. To avoid any confusion you better read Carls comments yourself but i can at least try to do a short resume: UBI is the publisher for the western markets while ED has the publishing rights for the Russian/CIS market and has the option to do independant add ons for the western market if they so desire. As you allready know UBI has decided that it will not continue to support any new development for LoMac so ED has to decide wether or not it will be profitable for them to develop add ons for the western market. The add on they are working on atm is being developed for the russian market and might or might no tbe compatible with the US/UK and European versions. As it is not being developed with the western market in mind there might be problems with language versions etc.. In the above thread Carl states that if they do completely new flyables like the F/A-18 they will come in a new simulation and not in the form of an add on. Since ED will probably use the LoMac engine for such a new flyable, one can allways hope that it will be compatible with LoMac and that the the expression "new simulation" in this context means "stand alone but compatible" ... it has been done before with other sims.
